I have received the most beautiful little needle book, with TW's unicorn on it. She included some Piecemaker needles, which I've been dying to try, and a GORGEOUS limited edition Gloriana silk in deep purples and blues. I'll try to get a pic posted, because it's all just too beautiful.

I got a lovely package in the mail today from Eileen (melantha chimera)!!

She made me a little biscornu with a pattern I've never seen before -- la la by One Star's Light. (DH says it looks like Space Invaders? ) The finishing is beautiful! Eileen says this is her first...

And just as I was finishing making my porridge this morning the postman literally hurled another box at my front door. Inside (the thankfully well packaged parcel) was my Rotation Stitchers Fantasy Exchange from Darla!

Here's a picture of the gorgeous bookmark I received from Susan (siouxzqs). She also sent a couple of skeins of DMC in lovely colours, which I'm sure will come in handy, especially since I don't have much DMC stash. ...but most especially to my recipient. I'm still about a dozen stitches away from finishing the stitching, and then have to do the finishing-finishing. It's been a hectic couple of weeks at work, and then my bestest friend in the whole entire world spent last weekend in the hospital. But it WILL be in the mail by the end of the week.

OK So far 13/16 have checked in and confirmed shipments. I have contacted via Yuku message the last 3 people that they need to post something now. If I don't hear soon I'll e-mail and if that continues too long without response I'll call. Just want to let you know I am paying attention for those doing the math etc.

9/16 have already confirmed receipt. Hopefully those in transit will arrive with confirmation soon now.

I received a gorgeous Dragon Dreams "My Treaure" pinkeep from Lindsay along with a bunch of other goodies. Fruit Pastilles - Yum!
You can't see the finishing very well in the picture but the edges are done with a silver metallic rick-rack and gold-headed pins. It looks really cool in person because it matches with the gold and silver metallic in the design and looks like a continuation of the treasure. Now I just need to find a little easel stand to display it on....

Look at the goodies I got from Lisa! She stitched two pieces, one from Teresa Wentzler's Fantasy Sampler and one from Castle Sampler. Her finishing is amazing. The needlebook has this piped edge that's immaculate. I've been trying to figure out how she did it. The fob is so nicely done too, nice and full. I love the threads and needles also--you can never have too many. Thanks so much, Lisa.

I was surprised to find a package in the mail yesterday and when I realized what was in it I was stunned! I haven't even finished stitching mine yet! I have a date tonight so I doubt there will be much stitching if any. I still have until Saturday to send it out so I may just be able to make it. If I have to I'll bring it to the gtg this weekend so I can get it done!

So when are we to post pics of what we got and from whom?

Well, as usually happens with me I paniced about getting my parcel sent on time and worked really hard. Hence I posted off my parcel yesterday! I hope it arrives safely.
