I received my package from Kate (chiasmata) on Monday the 27th. I was just floored when I opened it! It is gorgeous! I love it! I can't stop drooling.

Just got back from the vet and had to put a beautiful 4 1/2 year old girl dog (Maggie) down. We had gotten her as a pup when my DH was very sick (He died two
years ago of cancer.) And now she's gone, too. She hadn't really shown any REAL symptoms of anything being wrong, except she was licking her bottom
too much. As we live in the woods, she is able to run free. I never saw where she went to do her business. But one day, a few months ago, she seemed to be
straining and not...

A request was made for suggestions on ways to ease international shipping.

I know in the past I had an exchange piece that took, I kid you not, 3 months to get from Canada to Australia. From that experience I have added a request to
consider size and weight of extras if you are shipping internationally, and to please ship Air Mail. I that doesn't always guarantee that it'll go
air, but it does improve the odds.
I've always listed items as a gift, and if I...

Since I'm going on vacation right before the mailing date, I doubt I'll be able to stitch it last minute. So I've made a great start on my piece
today.

I hope to finish it one way, but have a backup plan if I decide that choice isn't what I hoped for.

Hope you all are having fun playing with stash/surfing freebie sites etc.

Have fun stitching and finishing over the next month and a half now.

I think I have a piece picked out already for my recipient. Now to go stash diving for floss and fabric.

So in one of my Yuku messages I got a question about where to find out how to finish something other than a pop it in a frame. Since others may want help on
this as well I figured I'd post my response here instead of just a private message.

Well I while back I convinced the admins that since we host so many exchanges here, instead of having to post and repost favorite links every time we hold a
new exchange, wouldn't it be fabulous if we had a forum for archiving this...
