I hope you have room for another new member. I'm Shirley and I live in SE TX on the Gulf Coast. I've been married 45 years, have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.

I love to stitch, read, stitch, work in my yard, stitch and collect stash.

Hi! I just found this board yesterday and I can't tell you how excited I am. I am from Alabama, USA and am a SAHM who is homeschooling my two daughters. I have been cross stitching since I was in high school, but I have not been doing as much the last couple of years. The past couple of months I have started stitching a lot more and have rediscovered my love for it. (I got sidetracked by knitting! For shame!)

I probably don't need introducing.I'm on just about every needlwork site that's around,well a few of them.Cross stitch addict,love blackwork.want more time for canvas work.Worst habit-starting a piece then getting tempted to another chart within a week.I have no will power.

I've been lurking for a while, but finally decided to say hello! My name is Emilie, and I live in Quebec Canada. I was doing a lot of stitching and crafting until last March, when my first daughter was born. So obviously, not much crafting time anymore. I had a blog where I posted progress, but haven't been able to keep it up since B was born. I'm finally getting back into the crafting groove, now that we have a schedule and I've gotten used to being back...

Although I have posted in a thread or two, I am basically unintroduced. I am Barb and live in Wild Wonderful West Viriginia with DH and 2 darling 4-legged children. I love reading, stitching and football. I don't currently have an active rotation - it's more of a screaming one. I like stitching fantasy themes as well as animals.

I signed up quite awhile ago, but I've gotten more excited about my stitching now. I have a extra large LL Bean canvas boat bag full of projects either already started or ready to begin, but I've set up a limited rotation for myself. I'm focusing on an heirloom Christmas stocking for my son (he's only five and honestly needs his stocking that matches the rest of ours!) but doing three other projects right now.

It seems I am not the only one too. I have been reading other introductions and I guess I am not the only one coming back to the fold. It has been a few years since I have been here. I had a rough year in 2007 with the stitching mojo. Towards the end of the year it started coming back and I decided to get some structure and control. Lately my stitching has been controlling me instead of me being in control of it. A rotation was my new year's resolution. I started working it on January 1st...

I just joined this group today! I really need this!! I have 15 WIPS in rotation and would like to know how others work their rotation. I try to get at least 100 stitches beteen rotations.

I joined Rotation BB a long time ago, but then the BB crashed, and it didn't allow me to get on.....once I finally got back on, everyone was moving over to Yuku, and due to a banner ad, my system blocked me from signing on, so I couldn't even lurk.....those were dark days.....then one day about 6 months ago, I tried again, and I got on...and boy was I psyched.....and I started lurking again....now I am going to try to participate again....let's hope this doesn't...

Hi, I joined this group a couple of weeks ago and because of the Holidays haven't had time to introduce myself. First of all, I need your help badly -- I am a stitcher who loves these huge projects and can never get them finished. Don't know my limitations, I guess. I love samplers and have quite a few 1/3rd done. In desperation I would love to try a rotation schedule in the hopes that this will help. After the first of the year I will post here with my projects to beg for help....

I have got quite a few wip's and as i tend to stitch large and extra large designs i'm not getting through them. I'm also near to finishing off my first HAED and because i know i want it finished by the end of the year (going in hospital in Jan so it'll give me something...

Hi everyone, I've been away for about a year now. Haven't stitched more than 10 hours during that time, and I'm not sure how much longer the stitching slump will last... But I do miss the chat. Hello everyone. I'm back on the boards after being away for more than a year. Looks like I'm in good company that way! Life just gets complicated sometimes, huh?
