I have grown tired of my structured rotation so I thought I'd just scream for a while. So the following is actually a WIP list. All will be worked on as I feel like and in whatever order I feel like. If I get bored I will abandon screaming and go back to some structure, either timed or goal-based.

Finished up round 4 the other day, had one finish and two new starts (also ditched one project and will start the new replacement design this round)

so here goes

1) Sunflower Tablecloth (possibly a finish this time!)

2) Christmas Bells 3/4 done

Taking a detour from rotating

Chrismas is coming and a lot of gifts need to get done plus I enjoy knitting very much atm, so I'm taking a detour from my rotation, even if I didn't even finish round #1.
New plan is to finish those before starting rotating again:

1) DVG Internation Bears "Spain" - need to work on those as I want that obligation out of the way
2) Towel for Mum - christmas present
3) Towel for new baby - present to one of DH's colleagues at work, due asap
4)...

I finished my first round in my rotation, so am ready to move to the second. I took out my Silver Lining project, I just can't get into it, and I know there is a mistake in there and it will make me crazy. So for now, it has been put away, and it is a 5 project rotation.

So, I don't do a time-based rotation; I pretty much stitch whatever calls to me, whenever I can. Here is what I currently have going:

I can't believe that this hasn't been started yet. I just thought of it a few minutes ago myself and thought I had so missed everyone posting what they had done and accomplished for September and what they wanted to do for October. So, I will start it instead.

I've gone through all of my WIPS, kitted projects and patterns, and like everyone else... I have way too much stuff and need to start pushing forward on projects. I noticed as I was going through my stash that many of my WIP projects are all BAPs. I'm allowing myself some new starts on smaller projects to break it up so I have SOME chance of getting some finishes. Some of the projects I've inherited from my deceased MIL - they're not as much of a priority to me, but I do like...

I am going to attempt a new timed rotation. A few of you have had alot of success in yours, so since I have hit a slump, I figured it was time for change.

Each slot will get a minimum of 5 hours/maximum of 10 hours per piece.

A couple of you gals have been doing the hourly stitching rotation (5 hours/10 hours) and I am just curious how you store your WIP's when not stitching on them. I tend to stitch on the weekends in big chunks of time, and can get thru 5 or even 10 hours pretty quickly (sometimes). I find it a pain to put one project away, then pull out the next one along with all the stuff that goes with it. I...

A OAAT Stiticher's Rotation - 2009

Since I am a OAAT stitcher my rotation consists of a list of projects I plan to complete in 2009.
New Starts are indicated. The rest are existing WIPs.
All Year: Ornaments or other smalls will be my travel projects.

Ok, it's time for me to face that facts that my WIPs are getting completely out of control. I have been suffering from chronic start-i-tis and not that much is actually getting finished. If I have found & counted everything correctly, which may not be the case, I currently have 26 WIPs. Many of them are larger projects as well which kind of makes it a double-whammy. Thankfully, I still love them all and want to finish them....

It's a little bit special, I suppose... I'm a member of a french board where SALs are organized. The main rule: 2 hours stitching for 2 weeks. You can stitch as you like, I find it great!
So I thought I could set up a little rotation, not really a screaming one but something like that! I have a focus piece and I am going to start with 2 SALs. My goal is to have only 3 SALs at the same time, that makes 4 projects.

For June goals I posted:

1) Do Susan's round on the UFORR (when it gets here) - only about 14 hours, I was shooting for 20, but there were two postal holidays (one in Canada and one in the US) and an unexpected business trip that cut severly into my stitching time.
2) Do chart E2 and as far on F2 as I can on the knitted lace stole - four rows a day minimum. -
