I don't have a load of projects on the go, but I do have a reasonably long list of projects I want to start. I don't kit anything until needle goes in fabric ( then only metallics and blends ) so I don't have that sort of list. Mainly this is a list of WIPs that will be worked on in my rotation ( see rotation list forum for what I am currently up to ) and projects to be started and/or finished. Also a running stats total for the year.

2009 Goals for Anne S

My goal for 2009 is to just enjoy my stitching, focusing on stitching up existing stash! In particular, I would like to see the following goals met:

- Complete at least 3 projects in the UFO/WIP section (5 completed to date)
- Complete at least 10 projects in the kitted-up/charts sections (11 completed to date)

In parenthesis, you have the designer name, the % of finishing if the project is a WIP and what material is missing if the project is not completely assembled.

After just being made redundant from my job of 7 years, 2009 is going to be the year of big changes in my spending. I am going to have to be very careful about money I spend on stash in future, so being able to shop from my stash will be what saves my sanity.

Saying this, I have more charts and kits than I even dare to think about so I'm starting to catalog everything in the hope I can easily track what I have. It's going to take me forever to do the cataloging but...

On The Wagon BB there was a 'post your WIP list' thread, complete with photos. I've done this before but never been quite so serious about it - or had such a scary list! I have CFS and fibromyalgia so stitching is my way of not going nuts, and because I stitch most days for a few hours I get sick of projects easily. I could do a 10 hour rotation and change projects every other day, sometimes! The problem is that I also used to buy stash as a pick-me-up...and then start it......

My goal for 2009 is to have 20 WIP/UFO's and 25 USO's and not start any new projects.
I also want to finish Noah's Submarine. And start getting my finished projects framed.

I really need the money for framing some beautiful works I already have, so I will try not to be tempted to buy anything new (except floss and beads needed to finish UFO's, that is...)
To keep myself motivated, I will also list my 'to be framed' projects!
