I finished up this San-Man design last night....Meow Missing Letter!

I made a few changes, like the cat is now a brown tabby, so I changed the letters from gray to tan to match, and also added yellow stripes to the honeybee, just for fun!

Now I can get to work on Holland...

After all those specialty stitches on the Chatelaine and Papillon designs I've been working on, I needed a little break....and these are the resulting Happy Dances. Both were 2 day quickies!

Another San-Man Dinky Dozen birdie towel (for July) with some additions....by the time I've done all 12 months, my guest bath is going to be mighty festive next year!

Woohoo! I finally finished my last model. (Jen, it's the one on black fabric that I had at the get-together.) I've had it (unbelievably) since 4/06! It took so long because sometimes I had to wait for clearer instructions from the designer who was in school and didn't have much time to work on it for me. But at long last I put in the last stitch. (last night) I'm sending it back to the designer today!

Which also means I need to go through my WIP pile to pick...

Here are The Sweetheart Tree's Teenie Hardangers I, II & III finished as one so I have in fact three finishes but only counted as one for the purposes of my rotation.

It looks great but I should have thought about it a little bit more before I started. The chart of the one on the right does not include the blue flowers of the other two so I decided to change the corner flowers to blue so that there would be some blue to match the others. It also had some backstitching...

I finally got a frame I liked thanks to DH. He came home last night with 2 huge frames one of his bosses handed to him and said if you dont want these throw them in the dumpster.

I also framed Baby in a basket for dh neice with one I purchased at Pat Catans.

This is the final HD for April. It has a few minor ... er ... improvements. It also has a cat hair or two still attached by the look of it. Darned cat should keep his little black hairs to himself. Then again, it would help if he didn't sit on my lap during stitch time.

I decided to stitch the horn in the same colour as the rest of the unicorn. Much easier that way and the Kreinik braids called for...

Just a few more little finishes for this month of April. This is why I thought the finishing of Miss Valentine was rather slow. Mind you, had I realised how quickly these could have been finished last year I might have stuck with them then. Oh well, you stitch, you learn. In any case, I am really pleased to have these finishes behind me. It means I can now start something new if I want or continue downsizing my current number of WIPs. I'm leaning towards the latter as no new piece...
