Holly and Ivy Sampler (TW)- started 8-4-02, about 20% completed 2. Summer Faerie (TW)- started 1-3-03, about 40% completed 3. Midsummer Night's Fairy (Mirabilia)- started 2-7-03, about 70% completed 4. America, Land That We Love (Jean Farish)- started 5-12-03, about 60% completed 5. Crystal Christmas (Mirabilia)- started 5-12-03, about 30% completed 6. Fairy Flora (Mirabilia)- started 2-6-04, about 40% completed 7. 12 Days of Christmas (TW)- banner, started 2-20-04, about 25% completed 8. Morning Dew (Barbara Baatz)- started 3-29-04, about 30% completed 9. English Garden Welcome (TW)- just the Welcome part, started 6-11-04, about 80% completed 10. Magical Night (TW)- started 9-14-04, about 50% completed 11. Flower Power (Crossed Wing Collection)- started 1-4-06, about 20% completed 12. Rosemarkie (Long Dog Designs)- started 1-29-06, about 85% completed 13. Medieval Town Mandala (Chatelaine)- started 8-15-06, about 25% completed I'm planning a few big starts this year, including: Leon Conrad's Queene Besse's Chesse Boarde (for DH), Christmas ABC Sampler by Krista Hamrick for Design Works (for me!) and a wedding sampler due in August (for younger stepson and his fiancee). Posts: 746 01/23/07 07:46:27	I'm off to a very good start for this year! So far, I've stitched every day in January and already have logged over 65 hours. I'm in excellent rotation mode again. Woohoo! I've had a new start (Christmas ABC Sampler), finished 3 more states on America, made good progress on English Garden Welcome, finished up the leaves of part 4 on Medieval Town Mandala and I hope to finish Rosemarkie today or tomorrow. And there are still 9 stitching days to go this month!!! Amy

Posts: 746 02/26/07 09:18:56	Well, I did finish Rosemarkie in January. Yay! This month, I've worked on just 2 WIPs so far.... but I made good progress on both and I'll be working on America for the last few days of February. So far, I've had just 2 days with no stitching, but I haven't stitched as many hours as I did in January. I added 3 more blocks to Christmas ABC Sampler- the S (Santa), the M (Mistletoe) and the U (Unwrap). They are time consuming, but I love how the individual blocks look and it's starting to come together as a large, festive, holiday piece. I finished up part 4 of Medieval Town Mandala- stitched the fences this month! And I got one of the beautiful turquoise corners of part 5 stitched too! Very enjoyable stitching! edited to change update month to February Amy

Posts: 746 03/31/07 04:47:02	I've already answered Lindsay in private, but in case anyone else reads this and is interested, I used more than 7 but less than 8 skeins of DMC floss to stitch Rosemarkie. In March, I stitched: 1. 3 more states on America (Texas, Utah and Vermont) 2. 3 more blocks on Christmas ABC Sampler (Z, W and "Merry Christmas") 3. English Garden Welcome borders 4. Flower Power- a hummingbird and started the Daisies. I've had 3 days with no stitching and have logged about 50 hours so far. So I'm down in hours again compared to January and February. I'm aiming to stitch more! Amy

Posts: 746 04/30/07 03:38:25	In April, I didn't get as much stitching done as I had hoped. $:\$ I stitched another corner of part 5 of Medieval Town Mandala- many hours! I finished the V block of Christmas ABC Sampler- took 17 hours! And I started the R block. I put some more time into Flower Power at the beginning of the month. That's it! I haven't added up my stitching hours yet, but it's down from previous months and I've had a few days with no stitching. In May, I'll be trying to catch up with some of my goal-oriented stitching. Posts: 746 05/31/07 12:33:55	May was a pretty good stitching month. I stitched five more blocks on Christmas ABC Sampler and I'm caught up with my monthly goals on this WIP. I stitched the last 5 states on America, Land That We Love and I also stitched the "Stitched by" and "Completed on" squares except for my name and the date. I started the bottom border and I plan to finish most of that in June and I will put the actual final stitches in on July 4 because I think it will look neat with this as the completion date. I started another corner of part 5 on Medieval Town Mandala, but I haven't gotten very far with it. I think I had more stitching hours this month, but I did have a few days with no stitching (haven't tallied it all up yet!) My WIPs album All of my albums

Posts: 746 07/01/07 03:37:05	June update Because it's summer and I'm busy with other things, I don't think I had as many stitching hours in June and I know I had too many days with no stitching at all. But I still managed to get a good bit done: three blocks stitched on Christmas ABC Sampler (H, I and A), America is to the "almost finished" spot and I finished the third corner of part 5 on MTM.

Posts: 620 07/31/07 03:30:53	July update I had a few too many days in July with no stitching at all. But I still got a nice amount of stitching done: Finished the C (Candy Cane) and B (Bells) blocks on Christmas ABC Sampler and started the J (Baby Jesus) block. Finished America, Land That We Love. Started the last corner of part 5 on Medieval Town Mandala and got it about half done. Started TW's Wedding Sampler and made nice progress on the border.

Posts: 626 12/31/07 06:25:19	Final update for 2007: I started off great this year, but late this past summer I lost any intense desire to stitch. During September- December 2007, I worked on just one piece and managed a pathetic total of 47 hours during this four months-- a huge decline! There were many, many days with no stitching at all. In the 8 months prior to September, I had a total of 454 hours of stitching (with my monthly average being almost 57 hours for the first 8 months of the year). In addition to making progress on a few WIPs, I managed 3 finishes this year: Rosemarkie (Long Dog Designs) America, Land That We Love (Jean Farish) Christmas ABC Sampler (Krista Hamrick) I started 2 new pieces this year and finished one of those. My WIP total is 12 on this last day of 2007. With the start of a new year, I'm hoping to get my stitching groove back. Amy My WIPs album All of my albums
