Was May a good or bad month for you? Did you reach your goals, miss them completely or something in between?

I didn't meet my "goals" I had set, but I did have 2 finishes! I stitched 74 hours, and stitched almost everyday. I was more of a OAATimer last
month, which allowed me to have the finishes, but I haven't decided what to do for June yet.

Well May was not what I'd call a great stitching month as a whole. I had abandoned my rotation sometime earlier in the Spring. I haven't yet gotten
back to it yet.
However, I did finish Caribbean Breeze which I had started for a need for something small and fun. I have also made huge progress on my Exchange piece that will get sent out in July. I am hoping for June to be a great month as I hope to finish the stitching on the exchange piece as well as get back to the long abandoned rotation.

Wow!
I think I freaked myself out this month!
Even with 3 days of no stitching at all, I got in 95 hours and 14 minutes of stitching! That includes 4 new starts, working on 7 different projects, and finishing off 3 (I almost had a 4th one but at 2 A.M. and trying to do beading is not worth the risk of messing it up and having to redo, so I'll be finishing it for the 1st finish of June). Overall, a very good month for me!

Not a good month for me, personally or stitchingwise. My dad has been critically ill since May 7th with heart problems
(he's doing better now, but is still in a rehab center and is slowly
improving). I managed to get 26 hours 20 minutes of stitching time (most of it during the first week of the month before my dad was hospitalized). With all of
the running around and not being home much, I had 14 days with no stitching. All of my stitching time was devoted to Flower Power because it was out and
it's an easy stitch. So no rotating was done.

May was very busy for me and I chose my goals in consequence. But, I met only half of them:
1) To finish Rachel's project for February 2009 UFO RR when it comes in (completed around May 20th) 2) To finish Papillon Creations' Mystery SAL - part 1, 2 and 3 (5% done). June will be even busier but I've two deadlines to meet: 1) Rachel's project for February 2009 UFO RR (due June 22nd) 2) My square for Garden Theme RR (due June 29th). I already know that I won't make it in time for June 22nd as I'm back from business trip on that date. That will delay also my finishing of my goal #2. But I intend to finish everything for the beginning of July. |

May was a bad stitching month for me. I had DD's birthday, two faires, prom, graduation and a litter of kittens! There was little time to stitch.
