This is my June Biscornu that I am doing on the "Basket of Biscornu". It is a design by Belinda and originally called "Sunshine on my
Scissors". I stitched it 4 times to create a larger square. I used a lovely blue fabric that I received from HaustTorres for the summer sky and a Dinky
Dyes Oops silk with metallics in different colors to give them each a different colored (black, blue, purple, and green) sunshade. Thanks for looking!

Brilliant! (pun intended)
BTW, have you sent a pic to Belinda? I'm sure she would love to see your variation. |

Glenda, yes, I have told Belinda about it. She's got it linked to my Webshot album.
Becky, there's a group of us doing a "Basket of Biscornu". So right now, mine are all going into a glass blown bowl that they can fit in to. We'll see what happens as the year progresses. I don't know if I'll make them into ornies or just keep them in the bowl or what. But if you fill them with the microbeads they can be quite weighty and I was even thinking they'd make great paperweights! Very nice. Congrats.
And using microbeads to make them into paperweights is an idea that I'm going to steal!
