Posts: 947 06/29/09 07:08:24 Sister Golden Needles	Tags : None Floss!!! this was my reaction last week after settling in for my 6+ hour Greyhound bus ride! I had planned to work on my Castles in the Air sampler and when i pulled it out all i had was the project itself and the charts! NO FLOSS!!! I cant believe i forgot it, truly a DUH moment Luckily i had brought along one of my rotation projects , Multiplication Tables Sampler by Long Dog as a backup , in case i finished part 3 of CITA. so the good news is, i got another 5+ hours in my rotation project, and the bad news is i still havnt finished part 3 of CITA Oh well Stitch On !!! Posts: 2085 07/05/09 10:39:07 The ONE	Jen, have you thought about putting a little magnetic case with some needles in them into your purse? I've got several that are 1" x 3" and less than 1/2" thick. I can toss a rubberband around it to make sure that it stays closed, and with the magnet in it, I stick it in a small compartment in my purse so it doesn't float around and get near my phone. Then again, I just thought of the small round needle cases that my mom used to have that were made out of wood and had a small top on them. Those would work great too if you don't want a magnet in your purse. And I have finally trained dh to bring a book or two whenever we go anywhere because "you never know when you're going to get stuck somewhere and need something to do". Friday was a good example as we took the car in to get the tires rotated and balanced and it was an hour and a half before we got away. Dh had a book to read while I did my stitching. So much better than staring off into space and doing nothing! Posts: 125 07/07/09 11:50:05	[Off topic] Terry! I got stuck at the oil change place the other day. My car has this oh-so-neat feature where it automatically locks the car doors after a while. I left my insurance and my keys in the car with the doors unlocked...I thought. So glad I brought a book. I finished it just as DH was pulling up to unlock my car three hours after I got there. Posts: 233 07/07/09 17:43:54	Jen, Put the needles in the change part where your coins are. You can make a mini needlebook, just large enough for 2-3 needles, or simply stick them in a piece of felt, fold it over/roll it up a few times and secure with a safety pin. I usually forget scissors. Lisa

I spent half an hour yesterday looking for the floss of my eyeglass project... until DH told me where he had last seen them, on the corner of the living room table.
