Ok... So as said I've begun another project and that's really good for me as now the 2 envelopes I'm waiting for have officially gone into the wild.
I received yesterday a shipment from the same company I've ordered my disappeared threads from and it's been delivered in 4-5 days (shipped on June 11th from the US, and delivered yesterday in my mailbox).

So... I hope they will be "good envelopes" and understand that "Momma" waits for them at home.

I would certainly let the sender of the missing envelopes know! Obviously, based on your most recent post, they CAN ship to you and get it there in a REASONABLE time. Two envelopes both missing sounds fishy to me.

I'm totally confident with the sender :-) It seems there is a 30 working days delay before the tracking can come up and make the insurance enter the game and that's next week.
Then She'll start tracking them down.

The 2 envelopes left her factory the same day (1 order = 1 envelope). As said it's the 1st time I have this kind of problem with her, so I don't fret. Simply hope that they'll finally arrive :-)

Heather I am the same, every time I look at my stitched piece, I want to keep it for myself LOL!
Thankfully there is nothing stopping me from re-stitching

Atleast you trust them and know things will work out.
I alas have had a very bad experience with an Australian online seller and just am so glad he is the ONLY person whose done this to me.
I had two parcels arrive, one from another Australian seller, and another from a seller in the USA which were missing items, but on emailing them they apologised and sent the items... whew! Big whew too since today's mis-hap was a design you just CAN'T get anymore. The seller was wondering why she had an extra copy of it as she knew it was supposed to be a partner to another design, now she knows who it belongs to LOL!

Oops sorry, after that little story that I HAD to share, really hope your parcels arrive SOON!

Since we're talking of packages going AWOL. A long time ago I purchased the original TW Best of Fantasy Collection. After a month I still hadn't received the envelope with the book. Talked to seller, she hadn't insured it, but since wanted to build up a good reputation, she resent me a new copy free of charge. Well the new book arrived in about 3 days time. One week later the original package arrived, the envelope a little worse for wear but the book was in fine condition. I decided after talking with the shop owner to keep the second book and send the money for it as I didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back. I figured I may want to cut the binding off of one copy to make it easier for making working copys and keep one copy pristine as it were. Well ironically, DSis bought me a third copy for a holiday gift later that year. I have long since found someone to RAK the third copy to, as I seriously don't need 3 copies.

I will keep fingers crossed that the package decides to find its way home to you Laury.

After being a bit busy for a bit too much I think I may find some time to stitch tomorrow and finish off that bs already.

This Australian guy, nuh uh, he's history as far as I am concerned.

Got NO stitching done today or yesterday, been too sick. Hoping to have more energy tomorrow to finally FINALLY get the back stitching done on my piece... that is, if I survive the stash drooling I'll be doing at a friend's place XD

Glad I'm not the only one struggling with bs. Usually, I just adore bs, and when I get to that point I get obsessive about finishing it and I find every spare moment possible to stitch to get to the HD. Struggling with Side effects has just made me not want to stitch at all lately. The good news is I did find some time this past weekend to do some bs, and I'm about 2/3 done with bs. Should finish it in about an hour or maybe even less. Just need to force myself to pick up the needle so I can get to the finishing. Hmmm Need to think about finishing supplies now.

Hehehe well I am almost done with the back stitching; like you, need to pick up the needle and get the rest done. Might do it tonight after dinner.

I've also made head way on the extras I'll be sending. Bearing in mind I have to ship international too. But I think my recipient will love em ^___^

Regarding my stitching I'm already more than half done on my "new plan". So I have good hope to be able to finish it on time. ;-)
I already know for a good part WHAT I'll send for goodies and I'm sure she will love it :-D

Now, the "disappeared white envelopes" I've been waiting for... arrived yesterday and I could see they had a rough time. One of them was all scratched and a bit torn, the second one had a big hole and it has been taped, When I opened it the inside packaging has been torn too and taped also. But nothing is missing, so I'm glad.

I'm glad your envelopes arrived. Lauryn Lyan. I always worry so much until things are in my hands. The machines they use today just aren't gentle sometimes.

As for my stitching, well, my piece is ready to go! Once I find an envelope, I'll package everything up and wait patiently for the shipping day.

Glad some of you are do close to nearing completion!

Also happy to hear that Laury's envelopes finally managed to find their way home.

I'm still plodding along, alternating stitching with back-stitching for the last third of the design.
Then for the finish! Thankfully, the finishing will be the easy part for me.

Also want to include some "extras." Do all you gals have a "Wish List?" (Obviously, I can't ask my person what she might like; then she'd know who I am. That will come in good time.) I've already decided on one item; but a "Wish List" would be helpful.

Sounds like lots of folks are making lots of progress. I still have just a little more bs to do. I've been trying to hit one length a night most nights lately.

Glad your wayward packages finally made it to your house Laury, even if a bit bumped and bruised as it were.

I should have a wishlist over on the Wagon BB. I generally prefer cool colors to hot colors, but everything does have its place. I haven't met a fiber or fabric I didn't like.

I've almost finished the cross-stitching phase. I only have 1 line left to stitch.

And then it will be the back-stitching phase and that one is a major one. After that finishing will be easy and quick.

So I'm happy to say that it will be finished right in time :-)

I've finished the cross-stitch phase and begun the backstitch phase. Already 1/5 done.

I'm really happy with the design I've finally chosen and I'm sure my partner will love it

Now still a few speciality stitches to do and then it's a go for the finishing
