Moonlit Lullaby just does not want to be stitched!
First: I had just got to the half-way mark when I realised I did not have enough fabric to finish the design!! for the first time ever I had made a major mistake when cutting fabric!
As it is a birth sampler for my nephew I couldn't give up so I started again making sure 100 times over that I had cut the fabric the right size!
Second: Miss Cleo decides to sleep on it - when it is in the q snap and all - and she must have been in the garden before hand because it turned brown and dusty!!! As it is white fabric and a birth sampler which uses pastel shades it needed to be washed. I had never really washed projects before - now I'm a pro!
Third: After it was clean and I was stitching on it again I stupidly picked up the 'white' bobbin not the 'B5200′ bobbin so the top of her main wing was off-coloured…. grrrr so I had to frog it out and re-stitch it.
Yesterday I spent the day on it and despite not much progress nothing went wrong - that I know about anyway!
