All the cross-stitching is done!

Lots of the backstitching is complete, too!

I was supposed to work all weekend (4th of July holiday) and it was supposed to be REALLY BUSY! But I was awakened at 5 AM with terrible pain in my right eye. All teary and red AND it HURT!!

I had to have a friend drive me to the ER (only because nothing was open - no Dr. office; no urgent care) and I have a scratched cornea (have NO idea how I did that!) and a dr note for three days! We stopped at the drug store, got the antibiotic drops and Eileen brought me home. I put the first round of meds in my eye and ir felt WAY better, but I still couldn't see well; so I took a nap.

Woke up feeling much better! And my vision is much improved, too. So, as long as I'm not working, I made a fresh copy of my chart so I can go over the b/s lines with a high-lighter as I make sure each one is completed.
That we keep me busy this evening, then I'll start the finishing tomorrow.

Why not just join the Wagon? It's another yuku board. http://thewagon.yuku.com/directory

Lots of friendly folks who love stitching! And you can go the the WishLists section and then do a search for your partner's yuku name
(mine is irishstitches) and if they have a wishlist posted there, you'll know right off.

I used to be a member of The Wagon and decided to leave it for different reasons. Yes there are lots of very nice and friendly people :-)

The best place to go for my wishlist is actually on my site; as I am more likely to keep that one updated than the one on The Wagon.

Almost done with mine; just need to get it finished up and then get the extras.

I AM probably going to also post mine a little earlier. I live in New Zealand so it may take a bit longer than normal to get to my recipient, just an fyi ^_^;
